Welcome

Hey there and thank you for stopping by my little blog. Here, you'll read about all things life -- hobbies, motherhood, DIY projects, baking recipes -- and history, specifically church history.

I am an history nerd and I love to read and listen to all things history. After all, it is His Story. Every Tuesday morning I'll release a blog post in reference to something about life and on one Friday each month I'll post about church history. I know that church history can sound boring or daunting, but I'll be short and simple when I convey the history. I'll also share snippets from books about church history every now and then.

I have many different hobbies and have many thoughts as to why adults don't have their own hobbies. I believe it's crucial for adults to have hobbies to live a stable life. You don't have to have many hobbies, one will do to be beneficial. Whether that's crafting, painting, collecting an item, or gardening. Notice how broad these topics are. You don't have to do many different crafts, but it's hard to do just one type (like if you're me and LOVE all sorts of crafts).

I took a Church History class when I was in college and to say it was enthralling, is an understatment. I ate up every word the old professor spoke. I couldn't believe that many of his lessons were things I had not heard. I called myself a history nerd, but church history was engaging because I saw the importance of knowing church history as a Christian. Did Christians always do the right thing? Obviously no. But throughout history you can see the perseverance, faith, and love Christians had during both good and hard times.

Like I said, every Tuesday's post will be in the broad spectrum of "Life." Most will center on my hobbies like crafts, baking, gardening, etc...I will try to keep my posts short because I know time is precious and sometimes it's hard to devote time to reading a blog post.

Again, thank you for taking the time to read my greetings. I hope you enjoy the contents and stay for a while.
