Holy Week / Palm Sunday

I was unfortunately unable to attend church today because my daughter got the stomach bug. We were heading out the door in 15 minutes and she comes up to me and says that her stomach hurts. I was so bummed to miss church because I love my church.
I'm doing Phylicia Masonheimer's free Holy Week Bible Study. And last week I was thinking a lot about Holy Week and how Passover started yesterday at sunset. Palm Sunday has been on my mind for a while.
I've thought about the people lining the streets with palm branches.
I've thought about the religious leaders and anyone who hated Jesus. And how they wanted Him dead.
I've thought about the owners who said, "Why are you untying it [talking about the colt]?"
I've thought about the disciples and how they just saw Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead.
I've thought about Jesus and how He knew everything that was going to unfold.
And Jesus obeyed through and through. He became a servant and obeyed until He died on the cross. (Philippians 2:6-10).
WOW!
I'm blown away by Jesus' love.
I've written a poem about Palm Sunday. I'm not sure if I'll write a poem for every day this week, but time will tell.
